Cookie Policy
Strictly Necessary vs Optional Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to provide core site functionality and security controls, including session continuity and CSRF protection.
Optional categories (analytics, advertising, and functional storage) are activated only based on your selected preference state.
Consent and PECR Posture
For users in the EU and UK, non-essential categories are set to denied by default and are activated only after a valid consent action.
For users outside regulated regions, default settings are configuration-based and may vary by deployment environment and applicable local law.
Cookie and Local Storage Inventory
The table below lists cookies and local storage keys used by GradePrecision.
Analytics and Advertising Vendors
When enabled by consent, analytics and advertising vendors may receive pseudonymous identifiers, page interaction data, and technical metadata needed to provide their services.
When Google tags are active, we apply Google Consent Mode v2 signals (ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization) in basic mode.
In basic mode, non-essential tags are withheld until consent is granted. In advanced mode, Google tags may load while storage remains denied until consent is updated.
Cookie Categories Explained
Strictly necessary technologies support core operation and security, including request integrity and preference persistence.
Analytics technologies help us understand aggregate usage patterns so we can improve navigation, content structure, and calculator workflows.
Advertising technologies, when enabled, support attribution and campaign performance measurement for service sustainability.
Functional storage may preserve optional interface behavior where implemented.
Managing or Withdrawing Consent
You can update your preferences at any time through the cookie preferences control presented in the site footer.
Where consent is required, category-level choices are applied to tag behavior and storage permissions according to configured consent mode.
Withdrawing consent prevents future optional storage and measurement for affected categories; previously collected data may remain subject to provider retention policies.
Browser-Level Controls
Most browsers allow you to block, clear, or inspect cookies and local storage. Browser controls can be used alongside site-level controls.
If you clear browser storage, your consent preference may reset and the banner may reappear on your next visit.
- Use private browsing if you do not want preferences retained between sessions.
- Clear site storage to reset consent state for testing purposes.
- Review browser documentation for per-site storage controls.
Preference Records and Event Logging
Consent choices are recorded using first-party client-side storage for the purpose of retaining your selected preferences.
Consent events may be logged in a limited, privacy-preserving format. We do not store raw IP addresses in consent event logs.
- You can change preferences at any time from the Cookie preferences control in the footer.
- You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser to reset consent state.
